“Something smart, something different…”

Bryan Jacobson, luxury event and wedding planner, may be the best-kept secret in New York society. The owner of Corporate Events Manhattan, Inc. (CEM), Jacobson is a visionary, masterminding cutting-edge and classic happenings for A-list clientele. His new stylish division self-entitled, Bryan Jacobson, will focus on high end designed weddings, corporate events, and other ethereal creations. Meticulous, yet refreshingly charming, Jacobson’s vision transforms events into fantasy worlds of exquisite taste. Some New Yorkers call him the next generation Colin Cowie. In short, the man simply loves a great bash.

A native New Yorker, Jacobson has managed to stay below the radar…until now. His reputation amongst the “who’s who” of New York is increasingly evident. He has been recently featured in Gotham Magazine as “Power New York Event Planner. In addition, he has also been showcased on NBC, In Style Weddings and New York Weddings. Attention to detail, superb inventive style and a hands-on approach – it’s the formula for a party of the ages. Vast capabilities and resources can bring nearly any client’s event vision to life. Impeccable taste helps please high profile clients, keeping them in the lap of luxury. But Jacobson also brings along a breath of humanity. Never the stiff official in the background, he can often be found mingling amongst guests, using his effervescent personality to set the evening’s tone. The cultured confidence of his services has brought Jacobson to the hippest corners of New York City, as well as across the globe.

Jacobson began his career in the New York offices of the William Morris Agency training program in 1996. On the side, he dipped into nightlife promotions for socialites of New York City, Sundance and the Hamptons. Eventually, he turned his passion into a business, opening Corporate Events Manhattan, Inc. (CEM) in 1997. His mission: New York event planning and production for major corporations. This event planner’s dream: to make gatherings about more than just a big-name venue – Jacobson began creating breathtaking, memorable experiences for New York's Fortune 500. Feeding off the energy from successful New York City corporate events, Jacobson swears by his commitment to personally make each event fresh and exciting. “Energy is a big part of my success and somehow no one focuses on that. There’s a formula involved and I’ve perfected it.”

Today, the bulk of Bryan’s event planning and design consists of dream weddings in New York and the Hamptons, destination weddings, corporate galas and luxury private events for a New York clients list that includes Small Luxury Hotels of the World, the Times Square Alliance, Traditional Home magazine, Chanel, and Revlon. And now with the addition of a private-events arm – with the appropriate moniker “Bryan Jacobson, New York Event Planner” – the doors are open to design weddings and other luxury socials with Jacobson’s imaginative flair. “I want to give my client an event that’s something different, something smart.”

Kicking off Jacobson’s private events work was the recent wedding of Raphael De Niro (son of Robert De Niro) and Claudine DeMatos in March 2008 at Tiger Woods’ Albany Estate in Nassau, Bahamas. Riding the events’ success, Jacobson has opened an East Hampton, New York office to handle luxury social events of the summer. “I am an event planner who listens to my client’s wishes very carefully.” Most recently, Jacobson planned another jaw dropping wedding for Roman Soccer Star, John Arne Riise, in June of 2010.
